Registration will commence on Monday, July 03, 2023, and the deadline to apply for the NUMS MDCAT 2023 is July 04, 2023. The exam itself will take place on Sunday, September 03, 2023.
In addition to Pakistan, the NUMS MDCAT Entry test 2023 will be conducted in international centers located in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the United States of America (USA), and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The specific test timings for the international centers will be provided on the admit cards. On the test day, the centers will be closed and sealed at 10:30 am. Candidates have the option to choose any of the cities for appearing in the entrance test.

NUMS MDCAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the NUMS MDCAT 2023, candidates must have successfully completed the intermediate/HSSC Pre-Medical Group or an equivalent examination, such as A-Level or 12th Grade. However, applicants who are waiting for their results can also apply. It’s important to note that simply appearing in the NUMS MDCAT does not automatically grant the right to apply for or make any claims.
The syllabus for the NUMS MDCAT 2023 is accessible on the official NUMS website. Candidates are advised to thoroughly prepare for the exam based on this syllabus and refer to their textbooks for the relevant content.
NUMS Entry Test 2023 Pattern
The NUMS MDCAT will consist of two parts:
Part A will account for 95% of the total weightage of the NUMS Entry Test 2022. It will include 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and a stipulated time of 150 minutes (2 hours and 30 minutes). The breakdown of Part A is as follows:
- Biology: 35%
- Chemistry: 25%
- Physics: 25%
- English: 10%
Additionally, there will be a Psychological Test comprising 100 MCQs, which must be completed within 30 minutes.
The overall duration of the test will be 150 minutes, and the maximum score will be 200. It’s important to note that there will be no negative marking.
Following the 150-minute MDCAT, students will be required to take a 30-minute aptitude test. This test is mandatory but will not affect the order of merit.
