PMDC MDCAT Test Date 2023 Announced Now. The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has rescheduled the MDCAT 2023 examination to September 10, 2023, due to a decision by the Federal Government. The paper-based exam will take place simultaneously at various centers across the country, including Balochistan, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, AJK, and international venues. Candidates are also given a limited 48-hour window on August 6th and 7th, 2023, to change their venue, admitting university, or make other necessary changes through the registration portal. The registration fee remains Rs. 6,000, and the passing criteria for MBBS is 55% and BDS is 50%. The MDCAT result’s validity is set for three years from the date of examination, and international venues in Dubai and Riyadh are offered for international candidates. A registration fee of 100 USD is applicable for international venues. Candidates must select a local center for the exam based on preference, with the choice being unalterable once made.

After attending the standing committee meeting, PMDC acting registrar Dr. Azhar Ali Shah claimed they were told to extend the test by two weeks. The PMDC council can extend the date, but if the standing committee requests an extension, the Ministry of Health and PMDC will consider it “said. PMDC Council decided to hold MDCAT on August 27th to start classes on time after admissions without wasting students’ time.

  • 10% of the matriculation
  • 50% of FSC exam
  • 50% from NMDCAT

Medical and dentistry schools do not accept students below 65%. Admission is available to those with 70% marks.
